2012 Black History Essay Winners
Five Local Students Named Essay Contest Winners Five students from the Aiken County are have been named local winners for the Annual Black History Month Essay Contest sponsored by the Free Riders Motorcycle Club. Congratulations go to First place;Daniel Morris-7th grader at Schofield MS, Second place; Robert Morris-5th grader at Aiken Elementary, and Madison Whetstone(not pictured)-7th grader at Schofield MS, Jamil Scott-senor at Wagener-Salley HS, and Runner up Brittany McQueen-7th grader at Aiken Middle School. Winners receive $100 gift certificate to Books A Million, Runner Up received $25 cash award.---- Aiken County Public Schools
